  • You can still check on a browser if you really need to. You just won't.
  • No FOMO—your account still exists. Your followers are still there.
  • After a week without the app, you'll wonder why you ever had it.

  1. 1.Press and hold the app icon until it jiggles
  2. 2.Tap "Remove App" or the minus sign
  3. 3.Select "Delete App" (not "Remove from Home Screen")
  4. 4.Confirm deletion

Pro tip: Also delete from your App Library and disable auto-download

Android

  1. 1.Press and hold the app icon
  2. 2.Drag to "Uninstall" or tap the info icon
  3. 3.Confirm uninstall

Pro tip: Go to Settings → Apps to fully uninstall system apps

You'll wonder why you ever spent so much time scrolling. The thought of reinstalling will feel absurd.
